Jakub Policht
B.Eng., LEED AP BD+C
Project Manager
As an effective communicator with an eye for detail, Jakub prioritizes understanding client needs – from sustainability goals and budget, through to operational requirements. He then uses energy modelling to determine the best possible payback for each proposed case. This holistic approach acknowledges the many different factors that need to align for successful sustainable design. Jakub complements his technical experience with a team-oriented nature and problem-solving skills, promoting collaboration and innovation throughout each project.
A LEED Accredited Professional, Jakub has helped projects across Canada develop energy strategies and meet sustainability targets. Most recently, he has provided low carbon energy support for The City of Lougheed’s masterplanned community in Burnaby, British Columbia, and worked on two new residential developments in Ottawa, Ontario. His passion for sustainability inspires his focus on the BC Energy Step Code, as well as his specialization in energy modelling, low carbon energy, and Net Zero energy systems. He also enjoys working with clients to improve the energy performance of existing buildings.
