The beautiful weather this past weekend was the perfect time to celebrate a newly-renovated recreation centre. Following a 15-month renovation, the Victoria Road Recreation Centre in Guelph, ON celebrated a grand re-opening on Saturday morning.
Designed by CS&P Architects, the renovation and expansion of this recreation centre included new entry additions, pool and change room upgrades and multi-purpose rooms. The west side scope included the demolition of 5,500 sf of space, various interior demolitions, and a new 10,000 sf addition on the southwest side. The remaining
63,000 sf of the centre was renovated. A spectator viewing area on the second level overlooks the arena.
